The Board of Elections has certified a vacancy in the River Terrace community. Residents living in Advisory Neighborhood Commission 7D's Single Member District 7D04 interested in serving as ANC Commissioners can pick up petitions on Monday, April 21, 2025. 

The petition circulation period runs from Monday, April 21, 2025, through Monday, May 12, 2025.

The Board of Elections has certified a vacancy in the American University community. Residents living in Advisory Neighborhood Commission 3E's Single Member District 3E07 interested in serving as ANC Commissioners can pick up petitions on Monday, April 21, 2025. 

The petition circulation period runs from Monday, April 21, 2025, through Monday, May 12, 2025.

Board of Elections Certifies Keith J. Sellars as the new Commissioner for 5A01

Today, the Board of Elections Certified Keith J. Sellars as the new Commissioner for Single Member District 5A01.

The Office of Advisory Neighborhood Commissions congratulates Commissioner Sellars on his appointment. We look forward to working with him and supporting him as he engages on behalf of his neighbors in the greater Queens Chapel community.

Board of Elections Certifies 5 New Commissioners

The Board of Elections officially published the certified appointments of five new Advisory Neighborhood Commissioners on March 28, 2025, in the DC Register. These Commissioners are filling vacant seats in Wards 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8.

The newly appointed Commissioners are:

  • Jeffrey Holliday - 4A05
  • Nathan S. Hosler - 5D04
  • Sam Alhadeff - 6E01
  • Jimmie Williams - 7B07
  • Erica R. Brown - 8D05

The OANC congratulates these commissioners and looks forward to working with them.

The petition circulation period runs from Monday, March 17, 2025, through Monday, April 7, 2025.

The Board of Elections has certified a vacancy in the American University community. Residents living in Advisory Neighborhood Commission 3E's Single Member District 3E07 interested in serving as ANC Commissioners can pick up petitions on Monday, March 17, 2025. 

The petition circulation period runs from Monday, March 17, 2025, through Monday, April 7, 2025.

Board of Elections Certifies 6 New Commissioners

The Board of Elections officially published the certified appointments of six new Advisory Neighborhood Commissioners today in the DC Register. These Commissioners are filling vacant seats in Wards 1, 2, 5, and 8.
